Yes Mean Yes
I have a good friend who often agrees to tasks that he does not have time for. Later he's reeling over his decisions saying "I wish I hadn't agreed to this" or "...now I have to do that". After listening to him complain about this countless times, I recommended he get out of the habit of responding right away. Listen to the request, ask questions, get the information you need to make the decision, but give yourself time to determine the best answer for you. In short, respond "let me get back to you on that."

My goal is simple: to stay in the Word, grow in obedience, and encourage others to keep going — especially when spiritual growth feels slow or stagnant. This space isn’t about performance. It’s about persistence. About showing up daily before God and choosing faithfulness.
I invite you to grow with me as I seek scriptural guidance for everyday life and continue drawing closer to God. They say "old habits die hard" and they, whoever they are, are so right. Old habits behave like spiderwebs, lurking all around you but somehow surprising you when you're all tangled up in them. People often wonder how to break old habits, but I am most fond of simply creating new ones in new spaces.
Who You Represent
People often wear clothing that represent a thought, feeling, idea or even an organization. Motorcycle clubs, for example, wear vests with their club patches or logos. These vests tell others that they are a part of something larger and that they belong to and represent that organization.
